  Kodue Hibino's latest catalog "KODUE HIBINO Textile & Accessory Collection Vol. 9" is now available.
  
  

  In this issue, in addition to our popular standard products such as handkerchiefs and mini-towels, we have integrated a variety of new items such as umbrellas and bags, as well as tenugui hand towels and bead accessories dyed by Kyoyuzen osmosis into one volume.

  New Kodue Hibino Spring 2024 Handkerchief "ROOT" Launched

  The new handkerchief "ROOT" (root) has been on sale since April 1, 2024.
  This handkerchief features various "roots" of plants.
  
  

  The outer fabric is made of gauze, which is also used in large handkerchiefs.
  The lining is a regular handkerchief cotton loan fabric
  
  

  The gauze side contains just the right amount of air to give it a smooth feel and excellent water absorbency and breathability.
  Overall, the handkerchief has a thicker and fluffier feel than the usual two-piece handkerchief.
  
  

  The entire edge is blanket-stitched in the same color as the pattern, creating a luxurious feel and tightening the overall pattern.
  
  

  What is blanket stitch?
  As the name suggests, it is a stitching method often seen on the edges of blankets, and at ROOT, the stitching is done with two threads (two stitches) for a denser, more luxurious finish.
  
  

  Plants have roots.
  Roots are not visible from the ground, but if you look closely, they are very beautiful and
  important parts of a plant.
  They can spread horizontally, move vertically,

  Pop-up store by 3 artists at "Ashinoko Terrace" in Hakone until 8/31

  Ashinoko Terrace, which reopened on June 1, is currently holding a joint pop-up store featuring three of our artists (Kodue Hibino, MiW Morita, and Marianne Halberg).

  Lifestyle goods from each artist will be gathered in the event gallery.

  Many visitors to the museum store and the adjacent Italian restaurant also stop by the gallery to purchase their favorite items.

  The pop-up store will be open until the end of August.
