Handkerchief with geometric patterns.
The "maru" is connected to form a Japanese pattern. The design has a traditional Japanese taste, reminiscent of a cloisonne pattern.
There are 9 holes in the lower right corner. Since the two pieces are laminated, the color of the lining can be seen through the holes, accentuating the design.
As a costume artist, I have paid close attention to every detail of this piece.
When circles and curves were layered and color-coded, a mysterious pattern was created.
Holes were drilled in the nine circles of the pattern.
The colors on the reverse side peek out and the world beyond the circle seems to expand and connect to somewhere else.
